New Year, New Vibe

 Hey Journeyers!

Can't believe it's been a week since the start of the New Year.

Already, I have two vids/podcasts, and I am focusing on improving myself.

Those who know me know that I always set up quarterly resolutions, instead of focusing on a year-long commitment, which we all know doesn't work for many of us, who would forget and slip up.

So, from January to March, I will be focusing on tracking more and cutting back on junk foods.

End of Year Brunch

Today was a good day for my TOPS chapter.

It is our last gathering for the end of the year, and this year we're having our Christmas brunch at Tulip's. All six of us were there, including guests.

We had a good time, passing gifts around and sharing stories. We thank the staff of Tulip's for a wonderful time. I do hope we could return there for another brunch, like to celebrate milestones, birthdays.

Soldier's Night Before Christmas

Historical Context
-"A Visit from St Nicholas" or "Twas the night before Christmas," was first anonymously published back in 1823 in the 'Troy Sentinel.' While the authorship is traditionally attributed to Clement Clarke-Moore, it has also been suggested that Henry Livingston Jr wrote the original.
Now to the present time, which brings us to "Merry Christmas, my Friend" or "Soldier's Night Before Christmas," which was written by a Lance Corporal James Schmidt in 1986. A Marine who was stationed in Washington DC during the time.
Later, it was published in the 'Leatherneck Magazine' in December 1991.
Over the years, there have been many renditions of the poem, matching the different services.

I'm dedicating this video to all servicemen and women around the world, who are away from home, wishing you all happy holidays and safe blessings to return home.

Spotify Pilot

Well, Journeyers, I've actually done it. I started my own podcast. Those who have Spotify can find my podcast under the title, 'Life Journey with Jessy.' Much the same as my blog here.
I would be sharing my journey, local events, reviews of places visited, food, and book reviews. Be sharing information on TOPS (take off pounds sensibly), and even do book, article, recipe, and magazine readings.
