Happy 2020 and Fresh Quarterly Resolutions!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS from our family to you all!!
That's right, the countdown to 2020 has begun!

We want to wish everyone a blessed, and safe New Year.
But, are we all ready for it.
What are our new resolutions that we all will be making and strive to keep?
That's why I strive to focus on 3 resolutions, quarterly. This way, I'm not so distracted in keeping a full list for a whole year.

This new quarterly resolution for me:
1) Be more priority on me, on my health and well-being.
2) Be more organized (using folders, budget books and datebooks for records).
3) Improve myself (focus on my studies to be a nutrition coach and to learn Spanish more).

I hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful New Year and is ready for a fresh new start. 2020 will be our year!

Feel free to ask me questions or leave me any comments.

Take care and Good Night!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!!!! December Recap

OMG!!!
It's here! It's Christmas!
Wow, where did the time go?
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas for my family to you all. I hope everyone is having a wonderful, safe, thoughtful, and responsible day.
This month just flew by so quickly.
With me, I was so busy with work, looking for a new car, dealing with my schooling and attending to home life, that I simply lost track of time.
Let us see about a quick month recap.
Our Anniversary Gifts
Well, close to the start of the month, I was finally able to find a car. Yup, I got me a 2012 Nissan Altima. I will be doing a blog about that alone once the weather is better.
The 21st was mine and my Beloved husband's 2nd Anniversary. OMG! Two years already.
From Work
Goody Tray, I put together
We spent a wonderful day together. He got a watch and me a miniature french press for my teas. Also, my mom had started a new tradition with us. She's been giving us ornaments since the day we got married so she sent us a new one this year. I think it's a wonderful tradition and I too would love to pass it along to my own children.
Last night, on the 24th, I went for my work Christmas Party. Granted it was brief but that's ok. We exchange gifts and had some treats.

Opening gifts was fun and we received some good stuff.
Several tee shirts for hubby.
PJs for me.
Blankets for both.
Lunchpail for him.
Our Christmas Gifts
An egg timer for him.
A loom for me.
Snow globes for me.
A hat for him.
A burger press for him (since he does a majority of the cooking when I'm not home).
A book for both (me mostly, LOL).
Only to name a few things we received for Christmas.

How are you all spending Christmas? Are you going to visit family or friends, or just stay home and spend time with your loved one?

Do you have any traditions in your family that you all do for Christmas?
I recall when I was a kid, the reading of T'was the Night Before Christmas at my grandparents. That be something to do every year or to sing carols.
Anyways, Merry Christmas and Yuletide Blessings to everyone.

Vacant? Not really!

Okay, the weirdest thing has happened.

We (hubby and I) just came back from the building zoning office. The man in charge was an old friend of my father's and he was asking my dad about the information on the building we are living in.

Apparently, the landlord had approached them letting them know that no one is living in the building and that a couple of months back, the gas and water were shut off due to leakage in the pipes, which none of us knew about. I ended up finding out about a gas leakage back in June when we were helping out with some demo work to the building while also learning that the building permit for such had already expired.

On top of it all, as we were talking to the officer, he made a suggestion that didn't really come to us after we have advised him that there were only us and a small family living on the third floor. By right, until the landlord returns all utilities, we don't have to pay rent. Once those utilities are turned back on then we can renegotiate about rent.

Let's cross fingers and hope that would waken him.
