Nutrition Coach Allies

Evening Journeyers, how is everyone doing today?

I'm in the next section of my studies and I'll like to introduce to you who would be my allies and contacts, which I could relate to or refer to clients.

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Physicians (MD, DO)
  • Registered Nurses (RN) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
  • Chiropractors (DC)
  • Physical Therapists (PT)
  • Certified Easting Disorders Specialist (CEDS)
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
  • Athletic Trainers, Certified (ATC)
  • Psychiatrist/Pschologist

Each has a unique role to help and aid one another as we all focus on the same goal.
Assisting those who are improving their health, well-being, and lifestyle.

And as always, do speak with them whenever you decide to do any changes to your life, to be sure for your own safety.

Gardening this year

Hello journeyers
I hope everyone is having a good day post Easter.
And speaking of Easter I actually had a good one we both had to day off. But, hubby had to go in for a few hours (was called in at last minute). So, I was very productive instead. I was cooking dinner and at the same time I started my gardening.
We purchased an indoor greenhouse. And several varieties of seeds to start.
Well, today makes a full week since I planted and wow, already got sprouts popping out on several. Now, just to clear up the porch area and get planters placed to transfer over once the weather outside gets better.
Still getting heavy frosts and light snow in the area, which isn't good for new seedlings.p

Profiles of a Nutrition Coach

Hello Journeyers, and how is your week going?

Well, so far I got quite a few things done on my day off today. Did a little planting, now that my indoor greenhouse is set. As well as some more home organizing.

But right now I just want to share some of the roles I would be doing as a Nutrition Coach once I am certified. My roles would be:

  • Educator
  • Guide
  • Nutrition Architect
  • Motivator
  • Communicator
  • Authenticator
  • Protector
As the Educator, I would be:
  • Evaluating clients' behaviors and dietary patterns using tools and assessments
  • Provide nutritional education to clients
Being the Guide, I could:
  • Host seminars and events
  • Provide helpful recommendations for clients to navigate real-world nutritional challenges
As a Nutrition Architect, I'll be helping:
  • Develop customized, evidence-based nutrition guidance for clients
  • Provide actionable, proven methods for clients to reach their nutrition goals
Being the Motivator, I would be:
  • Building strong relationships with clients
  • Leverage nutrition education to increase success, reduce turnover, and maximize adherence
As a Communicator, I would:
  • Engage in successful, interactions with clients
  • Perform consultations and coaching sessions face-to-face and online
As an Authenticator, I'll be:
  • Separating nutrition facts from fiction
Finally, as a Protector, I would:
  • Supply safe, comprehensive, empowering, and professional nutrition programs
  • Work within the scope of practice

Happy Easter, sharing info about my studies

 Happy Easter, Journeyers!

Hope you all having a wonderful Sunday and holiday (especially those who celebrate it).

I'm just hoping on here while my own dinner is cooking and thought to share some insights about my studies. As many would know, I am studying to become a Nutrition Coach and to help others like myself to understand proper nutrition and what path to follow when it comes to nutrition health (DISCLAIMER: Always speak to your Drs and personal trainers, before making any lifestyle changes).

Here is a small piece of what is to be expected from me as a Nutrition Coach.

◆ Have an actionable, proven method for helping clients reach their personal health and wellness

goals with your professional guidance.

◆ Leverage nutrition education to increase client success, reduce turnover, and maximize adherence.

◆ Work with face-to-face or online clients

Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to respond what I can.

Enjoy your day and safe journey.

April Weight-Loss Update and Quarterly Resolution

 Afternoon Journeyers!

How is everyone doing this day?

Well, it's that time again. Time for a new quarterly resolution plan and I get to share my update for the month.

During the next three months, I will focus on my own personal well-being, being more active, and sociable.

As for my own weight-loss journey, I did fall short due to a lot of stress that's been happening at work. Yesterday was inventory and the boss has been overly pressing us all during March to get the store back to ready. But, now that's over, I can return my focus to myself.

Hope everyone has a great day, and stay positive!
Safe journeys.
