Well, it's that time. The quarter has ended and another has began.
How did you all do with your quarterly resolutions?
I'm gonna admit, that I have slacked some. I went from going to the gym 5 times a week down to about once a week. I have continued my normal journaling but slacked in keeping up on my pages. And I have really slacked on the meal plans.
This time however, for this quarter (July through September), I will make an effort to go to the gym twice or more a week, attend my pages and writings. And instead of meal plans, I'm just gonna be mindful of my snacking. Such as, cut out all junk foods.

Now, the 4th is upon us and we all have plans for it.
Just remember to be mindful of it.
Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water if you're going to be out all day.
Protect yourselves from the Sun. Apply plenty of Sunblock every hour. If burned use Aloe, Noxzema to help cool it as well as a cool cloth.
Also wear head gear such as caps or visors and also sunglasses for eye protection from the UV rays.
Keep close eye on your children during the parades and large gatherings as well as around swimming areas. During these times it is dangerous to just let them go. Remind them of the buddy system.

This year exciting moment for me is and this is a spoiler. I'm walking the parade this year with Donna's warriors again. I did it last year to help support this group who joined together for those who is fighting against, survived or not of cancer.
Then sadly, I'm gonna have to work for a couple of hours. But, later on I will be with my charming husband at the park, grilling and enjoying the evening fireworks.
