What is he thinking!?

Hey everyone. How is everyone's week going.

Well, I just happened to witnessed something bizzar, out in the hallway of my apartment. I heard a lot of noises, of hammers pounding and a saw running. Carefully, peeking out of our apartment, I could see the landlord with another a gentleman doing some work out in the hallway.

Thinking that they were fixing the doors from the raid that happened about two weeks ago, I close the door and return to my house cleaning.

Once everything quiet down in the hallway, I went back out again taking the trash out. But, what I saw shocked me greatly. Just down the hall, bared up was the entry to the third floor and the entry towards the emergency exit.

Was that even allowed?

I can understand barring off the third floor to prevent people from sneaking up and squatting in the now empty apartments. But, blocking the way towards the emergency exit? What would happen if a fire breaks out? We only have the front to escape through and they are possible chances that that way could be blocked by flames, then what?

I don't know what he is up to, but I'm hoping that we could be out of this insanity soon.
